Will Smith fans, while watching the futuristic (year 2012) sci-fi hit I AM LEGEND noticed some "old" billboards from 2009 for the long-awaited Batman vs Superman Movie. They were initially thought to be a hint about things to come from Warner Brothers, but Legend director Francis Lawrence told MTV that it was only an inside joke created by writer Akiva Goldsman. The Batman and Superman franchises are both independant and there is no actual plan for Bats vs Supes or a "World's Finest" team-up. Well, except for the the Justice League movie that may actually happen . We'll update you here at Batman-versus-Superman.com should we hear about any actual progress on that! "An essential characteristic of the superhero
mythology is, there's the superhero, and there's the alter ego. Batman
is actually Bruce Wayne, Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. When he
wakes up in the morning, he's Peter Parker. He has to put on a costume
to become Spider-Man. And it is in that characteristic that Superman stands
alone. Superman did not become Superman, Superman was born Superman. When
Superman wakes up in the morning, he's Superman. His alter ego is Clark
Kent. His outfit with the big red "S", that's the blanket he
was wrapped in as a baby when the Kents found him. Those are his clothes.
What Kent wears, the glasses, the business suit, that's the costume. That's
the costume Superman wears to blend in with us." |

#1 the speed/flying: This goes first. A combination of entrapment (kryptonite)
or surprise (missiles, lead, magic, etc.) Batman would win because he accounts for every scenario, even Supes turning
to the dark side. Batman has kryptonite and is not afraid of using it.
Superman would kick batmans ass. This is why. Everyone assumes this is
going to be some type of ring match. Anyone with some sense of imagination
would realize could come up with a hundred scenerios where superman wins.
Here is one. Superman does go rogue. Flies to metropolis, hangs out far
above the city and x-rays everything will eventually find batman. Then
he just a) uses his eye beams and kills him from a great distance, b)
drops a mountain on him, c) knocks a skyscraper over on him, d) thows
any high velocity projectile weighing several tons at batman. In no way
would batman ever even get close to me if I were Superman. The batman would lose very badly against superman un less ,batman has
a piece of kyptonite of planet kypton on hand to negate the powers of
superman. But keep in mind that the Hulk would completely Crush ! both
of them in a all out brawl one on one .or , both of them together . just
like the hulk defeated the mighty Thor and the Thing in a all out brawl
and very badly injuried them both. Batman would beat Superman every time! The greatest superpower is always
intelligence. Batman has beaten Superman on every occasion where theyve
met as adversaries. Superman, from the Lords of Justice, took a serious
beat-down from Batman. Batman laid the smack-down on our own Superman
in Metropolis just to get information on the whereabouts of the Joker.
Not only does Batman know perfectly well about Supermans weakness
to Kryptonite, he also knows how to find or create other weaknesses in
his foes. Ill bet that Batman could come up with the resources to
release a harmless gas into the atmosphere to block out yellow light from
the sun long enough for Superman to lose his special powers.
Another Superman weakness that Im sure Batman could find a way to
utilize is Lois
The fact is, aside from using a gun; Batman would
do whatever it requires to take someone down. Superman, on the other hand
would be searching his little girl-scout soul up at the Fortress of Solitude
for a week before he could take any real action superman would kick.batman can't fly.this is a no brainer.spiderman would
beat batman easily as well. Batman would win because he prepares for every scenario. He can synthesize
(and has done so) kryptonite, and will use that to his advantage. There
is already a comic book out wherein Batman beats Superman in just such
a fashion. He is old in the comic book and using a combination of kryptonite
and a mechanical bat suit he beats Superman using high voltages of electricity.
slow him down and finish him like Doomsday did. Batman is like the New
England Patriots of 07 they go into battle hated because there not familiar
of losing same goes for Batman compared to Superman the odds are against
him but for some reason in the back of your mind you know hes going
to WIN. i think batman wold win because 1.he always find's a way to disable or
Though I m a hard core Superman fan, and realise Superman could knock
Bats out before Bats could cock a punch, Superman entrusted Batman with
the Krytonite ring he took from Lex Luthor in case he should ever go 'rogue'
(after Superman had to kill the three Krytonian Super Villians). Batman win for sure because he have brain and he can realise the weak
point of superman and destroy him if he make a suit or a weapon of kryptonite
superman lost if i have the money i make a movie =) i wonder who would win, the invincible, super fast and super strong superman
or the weak and pathetic batman. and superman would kick both their asses
coz he is awsome!! im serious. he has spidey sense mwahahahahahahahaha So the "big" question huh? Superman would totally win! superman would win because he has superpowers. he has freakin super human
strength and laser vision. if that can't beat down somebody without any
superpowers i don't know what will. Bat man will so win coz he is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
much Without a doubt Batman is the greater super hero for two simple reasons: He has no super powers & has the greatest arch rival of all time. Batman is completley mortal with no super strength, healing powers, agility, lazer eyes, flight, or other means of super powers and weapons. His high aptitude has enabled him to have an extremely high intellect, strong in the sciences, mathes and arts - mastered physical endavours such as the martial arts and other means of fighitng and staying fit. Argruabley the modern day fictional Renaissance man, he has surpassed all other hereos on his own with no assistance of conditional forces. True, he is a millionare, enabling him to afford his self-created weapons, machinery, bat vehicles, and batcave (the computers and technology within it), however, this is his "perk" as all hereos have - though their are ususally means of mutation or other powers/ abilities. Batman is extremely vulneralbe to every form of attack and yet he always seems to save the day. Even when his back was broken by Bane, eventually he came back to the job, not 100% better, but well enough to fight crime. 2) Batman's greatest nemesis, Joker, is by far the scarriest, most evil villan ever created. Joker is insane. He's heartless, he's unethical, he's all the negitive qualites of every human being combined into one. He doesnt care about anyone but the number one man: himself. He'll kill innocent civillans if it means attracking The Batman into a trap. He's sinister, down right inhumane. No one word can possibley describe how sick he is, nor could any amoung of words add up to define the Joker, other than this: The Joker is nothing but a man who plays horrible, cruel, sick Jokes on the world, which only he finds hilarious. Irony of ironies, a joke to him leaves the world in mourning. Because no villian in history of any comic or other means of super heroes works (books, movies, T.V, even memoribellia), has ever made more appearances than the Joker, he clearly surpass all. He is simply out of control, though, ironically a genious in his own way. There is no villian more popular than the Joker and this by far enhances Batman as being the greatest super hero of all. Saying that, here's why Batman would win a fight against Superman: Even
without Kryptonite, though Batman, too would eventually tire, I do bleieve
that Bruce Wayne, Batman, would find a way to tire out Superman first.
Superman may have super speed, but eveyone has to tire eventually, and
even the semmingly-invulnderable have their breaking points - it's just
a matter of finding them. Batman's strength alone is no math for the man
of steel's, but with his weapons, gadgets, vehicles and intillect, Batman
would find a way to gain the advantage in the fight. Even if it were merely
man to man with no weapons of any sort, Batman would last long enough
to dig deep into Superman's head and find a way to physcologically make
him weaker. Bruce, too, has his weak points mentally, namely his parents,
but in combat like this, that would seem to only add fuel to the fire,
giving Batman more motivation to win. The STATS: Who's the Best? Batman or Superman?? |
